UI/UX Design
User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) is designed with a mission to enhance the user journey. It anticipates questions and enables users to resolve them at every step, to ensure a full appreciation for a digital product or service. It prizes clarity, consistency, and elegance, and is the absolute difference between product success or failure.
UI/UX design is interconnected
UI and UX are two different disciplines that are critically dependent on each other. A beautiful design will not succeed if an app or website is difficult or confusing to navigate from one screen to the next. Similarly, the easy flow of a well-conceived app will miss the mark if the visual interface is not attractive to the target user. The goal of UI/UX is to create interactions that are simple and efficient.Â
Foundation of human-centered design
A digital and mobile-first world demands thoughtful, intuitive, and simple solutions grounded in the business objectives of any product or service. Agency 50 believes that success is achieved with a process that builds on all the available research and analytics. Insights must be built from a competitive landscape and grounded by its user personas. And that’s just the beginning.Â

User Mapping
A thorough consideration of user needs and business objectives is the essential starting point for a successful UI/UX design initiative. We will map your information architecture (IA), user personas and interactions, and help align your assumptions with actual user expectations.
Wireframing and Prototyping
Wireframes serve as a critical review and approval milestone for an efficient project. Functional prototypes following an approved design allow the team to get a website or mobile app into the user’s hands quickly to assess feedback and then add any necessary refinements.
User Testing
We can design and facilitate one-on-one or virtual user testing based on project parameters and will suggest the most effective process to accelerate feedback and make the design and development process insightful.
Front-End Web Development
Our development team will ensure that the wireframes and design translate precisely to the operating platform and perform smoothly. We include multiple quality control (QC) review milestones to assess results.
Design Mockups
We’ll show how color, texture, graphics, images, and typography bring the wireframes to life, reflect your branding, and support the user experience.
Integration and Support
We work with your internal teams to complete and test back-end integrations and provide technical support for a smooth launch.
UI/UX Design Case Study: NICE User Group App
NICE (NASDAQ: NICE) is the worldwide leader in cloud-based enterprise software solutions that empower organizations to make smarter decisions. NICE helps organizations deliver better customer service, ensure compliance, and combat fraud. Over 25,000 organizations in more than 150 countries, including over 85 of the Fortune 100 companies, are using NICE solutions.
OBJECTIVE
The NICE User Group (NUG) is a global knowledge community for the customers of NICE Systems. More than 11,000 NUG members share best practices through online exchanges, webinars, and an annual user conference to optimize the value of applications. The NUG works closely with NICE leadership to influence the product, service, and policy direction and development. NICE leadership asked Agency 50 to redesign a cumbersome desktop interface for mobile delivery, to boost acceptance and usage beyond a modest 1500 log-ins per month.
OUTCOME
Agency 50 worked with the NUG Team and internal programmer to synthesize user feedback and design an intuitive app for mobile as well as desktop delivery. We created an aggressive 8-week time frame with key milestones to sync with client resource availability and provided three design options. The team selected a combination of their favorite elements, and we delivered Adobe XD files ready for programming by their internal developers. The new mobile app has been exceedingly well received by users and is steadily increasing participation as intended.
